Hats & bonnets

From €28

The piece most people order first. We make basic beanies, fold-up earflap hats, pompom hats, and structured bonnets with ties. All sized properly — not guessed from a label. We ask for head circumference and account for stretch.

• Merino, cotton or alpaca depending on season
• Sizes newborn through 3 years
• Available in self-stripe or solid colours
• Pompom or no pompom — your call

Hats take two to three weeks. If you need it faster, ask — smaller pieces sometimes allow for it.

Rompers & overalls

From €85

The most time-intensive piece we make, and the one that ages well as a keepsake. These are knitted in the round with careful shaping and button closures at the crotch. We use a merino-cotton blend as standard — warm enough for autumn, not too heavy for indoors.

• Available in four silhouettes: straight, tapered leg, puffed sleeve, sleeveless
• Sized 0-3 months through 2 years
• Wooden or ceramic buttons — supplied by us or provided by you
• Matching hat available at a reduced rate when ordered together

Lead time for rompers is five to seven weeks, sometimes longer during autumn. We won't take an order we can't complete on time.

Blankets & wraps

From €110

Lap-size, cot-size or pram-size. We knit in simple but intentional stitch patterns — mostly textural rather than coloured, because they age better and don't clash with whatever else is in the room. Merino or merino-alpaca blend as standard.

• Three sizes: lap (60x80cm), cot (80x100cm), pram (50x70cm)
• Can be knitted as a gift with an embroidered initial — ask for details
• Machine washable at 30°C if made in merino

Blankets take the longest — six to eight weeks minimum. Order early for birth gifts.

Accessories

From €18

Booties, mittens, soakers, small stuffed animals. These are usually add-ons to a larger order but can be standalone. We keep a few booties in stock in standard sizes — ask if you need something quickly.

• Booties: newborn, 0-3m, 3-6m sizes
• Mittens with or without cuffs
• Small knitted toys — we have three standard patterns, custom shapes on request

Accessories take one to two weeks unless ordered with a larger piece.

Online knitting workshops

€45 per session

One-to-one sessions via video call, focused on baby knitwear specifically. Not a general knitting class — we cover the things that are different when you're making small, shaped pieces for a moving child. Gauge swatching, sizing, yarn selection, and the most common points where baby patterns are misleading.

• 90 minutes per session
• Follow-up email with notes and links to what was discussed
• Maximum two participants per session to keep it useful
• Requires basic knitting knowledge — not for complete beginners

Available in English and Dutch. German possible but slower on Elif's end.
